These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the services operated by Asokore Industries Inc("Pifini", "we", "us"). By creating an account, submitting a review, listing a business, or otherwise using Pifini, you agree to these Terms.
1. Your account
You must be at least 13 years old to use Pifini. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You agree to provide accurate information when signing up or adding a listing.
2. Reviews you submit
When you post a review, you confirm that the review reflects your genuine opinion of your actual experience. You grant Pifini a worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, and distribute your review on the platform.
You retain full responsibility for the lawfulness of what you post. Pifini is a platform, not the author. You agree not to post content that:
- is knowingly false, fabricated, or paid-for without disclosure;
- makes specific accusations of illegal conduct that you cannot substantiate;
- discloses private personal information of an identifiable individual;
- incites violence, harassment, or discrimination;
- violates applicable defamation, consumer-protection, or competition laws.
Fair, honest criticism — including negative reviews of businesses, services, or experiences — is welcome and protected. The line is between opinion about your experience (fine) and unfounded accusations or personal attacks (not fine).
3. Moderation
Reviews pass through automated quality checks on submission. Reviews flagged for defamation risk, illegality, or suspected inauthenticity are held for additional review, which may include a second AI pass and human review. We may remove reviews, suspend accounts, or refuse service at our discretion, with or without notice. Our full content policy is in the Fair Use Policy.
4. Buying tickets
When you buy a ticket through Pifini, you're entering a purchase agreement with the event promoter. Pifini is a marketplace — we facilitate the transaction but the event itself is the promoter's responsibility. Refund policies are set by each promoter and displayed at checkout. The Pifini service fee (5% + $0.50 per order) is non-refundable except where required by law.
5. Selling tickets / listing a business (promoters & owners)
Promoters agree to deliver events as described and to honour tickets sold through Pifini. You agree to Stripe's Connected Account Agreement for payouts. Pifini may hold or reverse funds in cases of fraud, chargebacks, or cancelled events.
Business, professional, service, and government listings may be claimed by verified owners or representatives. Claimants may be asked for documentary evidence before verification is granted.
6. Acceptable use
- No illegal content, no hate speech, no content targeting minors without appropriate safeguards.
- No scraping, automated bulk extraction, or misuse of the concierge.
- No attempting to bypass authentication, rate limits, or platform fees.
- No impersonation of another person, business, or government body.
- No manipulating reviews — including posting as a competitor, paying for reviews, or coordinating review brigades.
7. Intellectual property
Pifini owns the platform, our trademarks, and our curated content. You own the content you post and grant us the licence described in Section 2. Infringement notices may be sent to legal@pifini.net.
8. Disclaimers
Pifini is provided "as is". We don't guarantee uninterrupted availability of the service or that all listing information is current — always double-check details with the organiser or business before travelling or transacting. Reviews reflect the opinions of individual members and are not statements by Pifini.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pifini's total liability to you is limited to the greater of (a) fees you've paid to Pifini in the preceding twelve months, or (b) US$100. We are not liable for content posted by other users; our role is to provide the platform and to apply the moderation standards in our Fair Use Policy.
10. Termination
You may close your account at any time from /account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, particularly around review manipulation, impersonation, or repeated policy violations.
11. Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Asokore Industries Inc and the country of Barbados, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in Barbados unless law requires otherwise.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. If we make material changes we'll notify you via the email on your account at least 30 days before they take effect.
