Spicemas Carnival 2026

Spicemas is Grenada's national carnival, celebrated over two days in August with an energy that rivals any Caribbean festival. The carnival is famous for its jab jab (devil mas) costumes — revellers covered in used engine oil, grease, and molasses — as well as spectacular traditional mas characters and soca bands. Highlights include the Dimanche Gras Show, J'Ouvert, and the Grand Spicemas Parade.
