Rupununi Rodeo 2027

The Rupununi Rodeo is one of the most unique events in the Caribbean region — a genuine working cowboy rodeo held on the Easter weekend in Lethem, deep in the Rupununi Savannah grasslands of southern Guyana, near the Brazilian border. Events include barrel racing, bull riding, steer wrestling, and lasso competitions, alongside Amerindian cultural performances, local food, and live music. It attracts cowboys from both Guyana and Brazil.
