Mas Domnik 2027

Mas Domnik (Dominica Carnival) is a uniquely authentic Caribbean carnival that has resisted commercialisation while growing in popularity. It is famous for its sensay costume — a grass-and-straw suit worn by traditional mas characters — and its vibrant Bouyon music (a local fusion of soca, reggae, and calypso). Unlike larger island carnivals, Mas Domnik maintains strong ties to traditional mas characters and community culture.
