Held each February in the town of Holetown on the island's west coast, the Holetown Festival celebrates the anniversary of the landing of the first British settlers in Barbados in 1627. The week-long festival features street fairs, live music, craft and food stalls, historical re-enactments, and the iconic police band parade along the beach strip.
