Gran Carnaval Internacional de La Ceiba 2027

The Gran Carnaval Internacional de La Ceiba, held during the third week of May, is one of the largest carnivals in Central America, drawing close to a million visitors. The city of La Ceiba comes alive with spectacular parade floats, live concerts, Garifuna punta dancing, marimba bands, and the extraordinary energy of Honduran carnival culture. The main parade — El Desfile de Carnaval — runs along the seafront boulevard with competing floats from across Honduras and international groups.
