Fiestas de Palmares 2027

The Fiestas de Palmares is the biggest and most beloved festival in Costa Rica, drawing hundreds of thousands of visitors to the small town of Palmares every January. For two weeks, the town becomes a massive fairground with bullfighting (Tico-style, where riders are not harmed), concerts by major Latin artists, carnival rides, a tope (horse parade), food and craft stalls, and the legendary atmosphere of a town that parties around the clock. It is a bucket-list Costa Rican experience.
