Festival Internacional del Maíz (FESTIMA), Danlí

Danlí's corn festival, also known as FESTIMA, celebrates the late-summer corn harvest with parades, live music, and dancing through the city's main streets. Food stalls sell a wide variety of corn-based dishes, and agricultural exhibitions and contests highlight the crop's importance to eastern Honduras.
