Festival del Merengue y Ritmos Caribeños 2026

The Festival del Merengue transforms the Malecón in Santo Domingo into an open-air dance floor for roughly a week and a half each summer, celebrating merengue and other Caribbean rhythms with live orchestras, dance performances and food vendors along the waterfront. The 2026 staging runs from late July into early August.
