Feria de las Flores 2026

The Feria de las Flores is Medellín's most beloved festival, held each August. The highlight is the Desfile de Silleteros — a spectacular parade in which hundreds of campesinos from the flower-growing mountain communities of Santa Elena carry enormous floral arrangements (silletas) weighing up to 100kg on their backs through the streets of Medellín. The festival also features flower exhibitions, orchid shows, a classic car parade, the tango night (Noche de Tango) on Avenida El Poblado, and live music.
