Dominica Independence Day Celebrations

Dominica marks its 1978 independence from Britain on November 3 following weeks of Creole heritage celebrations beginning in mid-September, including Creole Day, the Miss Wob Dwiyèt pageant, Creole in the Park, and a National Day parade of uniformed groups and cultural gala.
