Carnival of Panama 2027

Panama's Carnival is celebrated with particular fervour in the town of Las Tablas in Los Santos province — where two rival queens (La Calle Arriba vs La Calle Abajo) compete in increasingly spectacular costumes, fireworks, and parades throughout the four days before Ash Wednesday. In Panama City, the Cinta Costera waterfront hosts massive parties, culecos (water trucks that drench revellers), and concerts. Carnival in Panama is one of the most joyful and energetic in Central America.
