Carnaval de Las Tablas (Panama Carnival)

Widely considered Panama's most intense Carnival celebration, Las Tablas splits into two rival streets, Calle Arriba and Calle Abajo, each crowning a carnival queen who competes with elaborate floats, costumes and water-truck-soaked street parties (mojaderas).
