Belize September Celebrations 2026

September is Belize's biggest month for national pride. Two key dates define the celebrations: St. George's Caye Day (September 10) and Independence Day (September 21). The month features carnival parades in Belize City and around the country, the spectacular September Carnival floats, cross-country cycling race, cooking competitions, music, dance, and a fireworks finale. The September Carnival parade in Belize City is one of Central America's most colourful events.
