Anata Andino de Oruro

Held in the days leading up to Oruro's Carnaval, this festival gathers around a hundred folkloric groups from all 16 provinces of the Oruro department, plus invited groups from Peru, to give ritual thanks to the Pachamama for the year's potato harvest. It combines Andean agricultural blessing rites with traditional highland music and dance.
